Untethered Fox Solutions partnered with Netting Nerds to support the installation and technical execution of Smoky Night Lights—a first-of-its-kind, 360° immersive music and light show presented at Zoo Knoxville. Created by Moment Factory, the experience transforms a natural outdoor amphitheater into a dynamic nighttime venue that surrounds guests with synchronized projection, lighting, and sound.

Working as part of the production installation team, Untethered Fox Solutions provided hands-on rigging, structural setup, and technical support to prepare the immersive environment for Moment Factory’s multimedia design. This included:

  • Installing overhead and ground-supported netting, mesh, and scenic elements

  • Setting and tensioning hardware systems used to support lighting and projection components

  • Coordinating with Moment Factory’s creative and technical departments to align installation with show design

  • Supporting layout adjustments, field changes, and daily problem-solving as the amphitheater transformed into a circular walkthrough experience

  • Implementing high-access and rope-based rigging solutions to overcome terrain challenges around the elevated viewing platform

  • Collaborating closely with Netting Nerds to integrate structural and scenic components safely and efficiently

Smoky Night Lights reimagines the Great Smoky Mountains through immersive lighting, sound, and projection, showcasing local wildlife, seasonal shifts, and Appalachian-inspired music. The elevated 360° platform offers guests a unique vantage point, with every angle delivering a different visual narrative.

For Untethered Fox Solutions, this project highlights our ability to contribute to large-scale creative builds, integrate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-precision, on-schedule installations for complex experiential environments.
